It is true: as for today, Cibi Alterati has been bought by Endemol for €500.000 !!! Yes it’s true!
It is the 1st time anyone in Europe achieves such a big goal starting from such a Web project!
We are incredibly excited and now we are just going to party on and get back to work!

A big complimenti to some of our Italian community members (by way of Berlin) for winning “Best Vlog” (Miglior Vlog) at the Italian Vlog Awards, held at Vlogcamp Rome 2007 a few weeks ago. Cibi Alterati, “the first cooking videoblog from Berlin,” features a crew of bizarre and amazingly entertaining Italian expats who produce an alternative cooking show for those of you that find Rachael Ray less-than-stimulating. It’s cool to see international vloggers get recognized, and rad that vloggers in cities around the world are putting events together. The episode featured above includes a recipe for pasta puttanesca, “the oldest recipe in the world,” but things quickly stray from pasta to more colorful, erm, shenanigans. These guys are great.

Scherzare con le ricette della nobilissima tradizione gastronomica italiana a beneficio della platea internazionale di internet. Nessuno aveva nemmeno osato pensarlo. Loro invece, Erik Stripparo, Federico Falchi e Lorenzo Gori lo hanno fatto con “Cibi Alterati”, una trasmissione quotidiana di cucina italiana on-line, condita da musica e divertenti, ironiche istruzioni per l’uso delle più classiche e popolari ricette del nostro paese. In pochi mesi, hanno conquistato il cuore e il palato del misterioso e inafferrabile popolo di internet. Grazie allo straordinario successo, la trasmissione televisiva MagicTv del gruppo Sky ha deciso di mandarli in onda anche sul satellite. E di recentesono stati premiati al Vlog Awards di Roma come gli autori del migliore videoblog italiano nel mondo.
